How mouth tape relates to open-mouth snoring

Open-mouth snoring and snoring with the mouth already closed are different problems. A strip of tape can only affect the first one, by holding the lips together so air goes through the nose.

That is a comfort and breathing-route question. It is not a claim that tape treats, cures, or prevents a snoring disorder.
