What it is

Ultra launched in May 2025 and raised an $11M Series A in January 2026 (Business Wire). It sells three nicotine-free lines (Ultra):

  • Energy: 180 mg caffeine + L-theanine + B vitamins.
  • Focus: caffeine-free. Enfinity paraxanthine + L-theanine + Alpha GPC + B vitamins + ginseng.
  • Sleep: melatonin-based.

Evidence check

  • 180 mg caffeine is a strong single dose. Two pouches are close to the FDA's 400 mg/day adult reference.
  • Paraxanthine (Focus) has small human trials showing short-term cognitive effects at 100–300 mg (Nutrients 2021). We couldn't confirm Ultra's per-pouch paraxanthine dose on the pages we reviewed.
  • Melatonin (Sleep) is a separate category. See our Sleep section.

Who it's for

Experienced caffeine users (Energy), or people wanting a caffeine-free focus option (Focus) who are comfortable with undisclosed doses until Ultra publishes them.
