We Checked 7 Leading Energy Pouch Brands for Lab Testing. None Publish It.

As of October 15, 2026, Ultra, Wip, NZE, MOJO, Neutonic, Fully Loaded and GRINDS don't publish a certificate of analysis (COA), caffeine potency results, heavy-metal results, PFAS results or a third-party certification for their pouches on their own websites. Some smaller brands do. Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe. They mean shoppers can't check.
No affiliate links, and brands don't pay us. How we work
How we work: Evident has no affiliate links and isn't paid by the brands we cover. We aim to be honest and transparent, prioritizing objective measures. We look for products that meet our standards so we can stand behind them. We currently don't endorse any energy products.
Seven leading brands. Five checks: COA, caffeine potency, heavy metals, PFAS, and a third-party certification. The chart uses a grey dash where a brand has not published that result.
Key findings
- On October 15, 2026, we couldn't find a certificate of analysis, caffeine potency, heavy metals, PFAS, or a third-party certification on the sites of Ultra, Wip, NZE, MOJO, Neutonic, Fully Loaded, or GRINDS.
- At least four smaller brands do post lab reports from accredited labs.
- If a result is not on the site, you cannot check it. That does not mean the product is unsafe.
None of the seven publish lab results.
Seven brand websites, five things.
On October 15, 2026, we checked the websites of seven leading nicotine-free energy pouch brands, the names that come up most in retail, press and Amazon results: Ultra, Wip, NZE, MOJO, Neutonic, Fully Loaded and GRINDS. On each site we looked at product pages, FAQs, quality/science pages and help centers for five things:
- A certificate of analysis (COA)
- Caffeine potency results (does the pouch contain what the label says?)
- Heavy-metal results (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury)
- PFAS results
- A third-party certification such as NSF Certified for Sport, Informed Choice or BSCG
We scanned pages listed in each site's sitemap, up to 60 per brand, for keywords: COA, certificate of analysis, third-party, lab test, heavy metal, lead, arsenic, PFAS, NSF, Informed Choice, BSCG, GMP, potency, ISO 17025, “tested for”, batch. FAQ, product and quality pages were also read by hand. JavaScript-rendered pages (MOJO) were read in a rendered fetch.
We only checked brand-owned websites and help centers. We didn't check Amazon listings, packaging or retailer pages.
We emailed each brand on Oct 15, 2026 and asked whether it publishes COAs or lab results. Any results or comments received later will be added to the brand's row with an Updated date.
As of this writing, we have not received a response.

What we found on their sites.
None of the seven published any of the five. The only quality claim we found was Wip's statement that its pouches are made in a "GMP-compliant and FDA-registered facility." That's a claim about the factory, not a test result. Neutonic labels its creatine "third party tested," but its focus pouch page makes no such claim.

Publishing results is doable. At least four smaller brands post full lab reports from accredited labs, including Cyclone Pods, Strive, Revive X, and Rooted. None of the seven biggest names do.
| Brand | Page | What's published |
|---|---|---|
| Cyclone Pods (Focus Pouches) | cyclonepods.com/pages/focus-pouches-lab-testing | Downloadable COA (Certified Laboratories): pesticides, solvents, heavy metals (ICP-MS), caffeine |
| Strive | strivepouches.com/quality | COA for each flavor (Swift Laboratory, ISO 17025), batch 06.30.2026; says it's made in an NSF-certified cGMP facility |
| Revive X | revivexpouch.com/pages/quality-testing | Swift Labs reports for each flavor (pathogens, heavy metals, actives); says it's NSF-verified under Amazon's supplement policy |

A product you can't check.
The category is growing fast. One market report puts caffeine pouches at $66.9M in 2025 and $71.3M in 2026 (MarketResearch.com/360iResearch). Estimates vary widely between sources.1
Teens are using them. NBC News and USA Today reported on teen caffeine-pouch use in 2025–26 (NBC, USA Today), and schools have sent letters home (Telegram & Gazette). The American Academy of Pediatrics advises teens to have no more than 100 mg of caffeine a day, or none (cited in NBC).234
No pre-approval, no age limit. The FDA regulates caffeine pouches as dietary supplements or foods, with no pouch-specific rules or pre-market approval (NBC; Telegram). There's no federal minimum age to buy (Vaping360). New York's proposed bill S9158 would label products over 100 mg "not recommended under 18" and products at 150 mg or more "high caffeine" (Vaping360).5
Dose matters. The FDA says up to 400 mg a day isn't generally linked to negative effects in healthy adults (FDA). Pouches range up to 200 mg each (Wip). Without potency testing, the label is the only number a buyer has.6
Why published testing should be the norm.
Energy pouches are going into the mouths of millions of people, many of them young, and the leading brands don't publish a single lab result showing what's in them. Smaller brands prove it's easy to do. Until the big names catch up, we'll keep asking, and we'll publish our own lab results.

What this check doesn't prove.
Brand sites only
We only checked brand-owned websites and help centers. We didn't check Amazon listings, packaging or retailer pages.
A snapshot, dated Oct 15, 2026
Sites change. These results are a snapshot as of Oct 15, 2026. We'll recheck and update with dated changes. If a brand publishes results, we'll add them.
"Leading" is visibility, not sales
"Leading" means the most visible brands in the category in our research, not a sales ranking. Other brands (ZALT, Tiger, ALP, Gainful, Yippy, Zensei, Nectr and others) weren't assessed.
Missing results are not a safety finding
Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe or contaminated. We didn't test these products, and we're not saying any of them contain anything harmful. Brands may test privately and not publish.
Key stats, with their caveats
0 of 7 leading energy pouch brands publish a certificate of analysis for their pouches. Checked on brand websites, Oct 15, 2026. Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe.
0 of 7 publish caffeine potency results, so no brand shows lab proof that the pouch contains the caffeine on the label. Checked on brand websites, Oct 15, 2026. Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe.
0 of 7 publish heavy-metal or PFAS results for their pouches. Checked on brand websites, Oct 15, 2026. Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe.
1 of 7 (Wip) makes any manufacturing-quality claim on its site ("GMP-compliant and FDA-registered facility"). That describes the facility, not a test result. Checked on brand websites, Oct 15, 2026. Missing results don't mean a product is unsafe.

Evident lab results: coming soon.
We've bought these products and are sending them to an independent accredited lab for caffeine potency and heavy-metal testing. We'll publish the full results, including the lab name, methods and the COAs, on this page.
Frequently asked questions
Do any energy pouch brands publish lab results?
None of the seven leading brands we checked did as of Oct 15, 2026. Some smaller brands post COAs.
Does this mean these pouches are unsafe?
No. It means results aren't public, so you can't check them yourself.
What should I look for?
A batch-specific COA from an ISO 17025-accredited lab that covers caffeine and heavy metals, or a seal like NSF Certified for Sport or Informed Choice.
Methodology & sources
We checked each brand's website, product pages, and any linked certificates of analysis on October 15, 2026, and emailed Ultra, Wip, NZE, MOJO, Neutonic, Fully Loaded, and GRINDS to ask whether they publish lab results. When we say we couldn't find a result, it wasn't on those pages. That does not mean a lab never tested the product, and it does not mean the product is unsafe. Label figures are the ones printed on those pages. Replies will be added to the testing report, with the date updated. If a figure on this page is wrong, the change is logged on our corrections page.
