DreamState Mouth Tape Review 2026 — Transparency Concerns Hold It Back

Another Brand That Won't Share

DreamState is the second brand in our testing (alongside Niveus) that declined to disclose their fabric composition when we reached out. This is a core transparency issue that prevents us from giving a full evaluation.

When we evaluate 25+ mouth tapes, one of the first things we do is contact each brand to learn about their materials. Most brands are happy to share — it's a competitive advantage to show you use quality ingredients. When a brand refuses, it raises immediate questions.

What We Can Evaluate

Without fabric composition data, our safety evaluation is incomplete. We can assess the general feel and performance of the tape, but we can't verify whether the materials are appropriate for prolonged skin contact or whether they meet medical-grade standards.

The Transparency Standard

The best brands in our testing — Sleep Karma, PapMD, Awwawe, Adellina — all provided detailed fabric and adhesive information. Several even shared third-party safety certifications. This is the standard consumers should expect from any product worn overnight.

The Bottom Line

DreamState may produce a perfectly fine mouth tape, but without knowing what it's made of, we can't verify that. We recommend choosing a brand that openly shares its material composition. If DreamState updates their transparency practices, we'll revisit this review.
