Our Verdict
The best-known LED mask in department stores thanks to the Dr. Dennis Gross brand halo. Dual FDA clearance for both wrinkles and acne is rare in the category. Includes 415nm blue light for acne in addition to red and near-infrared. The hardware tells a thinner story than the marketing: brand has not disclosed a clear, verified irradiance number in mW/cm², the rigid plastic shell doesn't contour to the face like silicone competitors, and the 3-minute treatment cycle is suspiciously short compared to 10-20 minute competitors.

About Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare
The DRx SpectraLite is the mask most consumers have actually heard of, and it does carry a legitimate dual FDA clearance for both wrinkles and acne — rare in the category. But when you push on the specs, the story gets thinner. The brand is trading heavily on dermatologist credibility, which is legitimate but doesn't translate to the device being the best engineered.
